I’m Trixie Tripod, the Ambassadog of Wonder Dog Ranch, and this is my blog. Like all good ambassadors, it is my job to bring you some good tidbits of news, observations, and ideas from Wonder Dog Ranch. The people there know other interesting folks and I take them around town a lot, so I’m taking it upon myself to share some of the interesting things I might dig up. So with this as my introductory post, I’ll let you know these will be occasional observations, not necessarily regular occurrences like mealtime and walkies are supposed to be. So for now, just remember to look back here to see what I’ve uncovered. And it is summer time, so please stay cool and keep yourself and all your pets cool! It’s hot out there!

About the Author: Trixie Tripod
Here's a little bit about me: I was injured in Tijuana at a young age, and after surgery to remove my left rear leg, the good vet there sent me up to the Hand in Paw Rescue in Bradbury, CA. Thru them, I met Ernie the Wonder Dog and his people. Everyone agreed that I too could be a therapy dog, helping out others just with my doggedness. So, with Ernie's guidance, I first got my AKC Canine Good Citizenship, then I qualified for an AKC Novice Trick Dog title, and after even more practice exercises (humans call it "training" but I thought it was fun!) with Gary Francis, I became an officially certified member of Therapy Dogs International. So now my job is to visit people to inspire, amuse, entertain and help them be their happiest, all while being counted amongst my new friends, and to joyfully represent Wonder Dog Ranch as its Ambassadog.
